Brianna & Cooper | Portraits in Uniontown, PA

In December we made the decision to expand our little family with the addition of a second puppy. Luck would have it that the same week one of Jackie’s students asked if she wanted a puppy from their litter. We jumped at the chance and we instantly fell in love with Parker. Unfortunately, a short month later he started experiencing some major health issues and we had to make the toughest decision either of us has ever had to do and allow him to stop suffering. Shortly afterwards the puppy mom in me knew I had to do something for the other doggy parents out there and I gave away 2 free sessions to the people who received the most likes on an image of their furry children. Brianna and her little fur child Cooper were lucky enough to win one of those sessions.

Brianna, Cooper, and I met at Brown’s Trail in Masontown, PA bright and early on a Saturday morning. We had a blast trying to keep Cooper somewhat interested. haha. It was so great to spend some time getting to know Brianna and also hear about how she came to own Cooper. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to capture these images for Brianna and Cooper. I think far too often we take for granted that our pets will be around forever. They are members of the family as well, don’t forget to include yours in your family portraits!

And since I get to share someone else’s furry little one, here a peak at some of the great times we did get with little Parker.
